The Neale Connection to the [Family] House of Cromwell.
Historical and Noteworthy Cromwell: Oliver Cromwell, Lord Protector of the Common Wealth.

Stephens - Neale Connection to the [Family] House of Cromwell https://books.google.com/books?id=qFQDAAAAMAAJ&pg=PA38&lpg=PA38&dq=William+Baghot-de+la+Bere&source=bl&ots=HJRuF-HoNp&sig=Nv8aM-iQ9XXtjNVyJwjGfpPdOI4&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiL26rr7f_MAhUCCSwKHdMJDosQ6AEIJTAC#v=onepage&q=William%20Baghot-de%20la%20Bere&f=false Memoirs of the protectorate-house of Cromwell: deduced from an early period… The history of the family of Neale is taken from a pedigree in the possession of the present Colonel Neale, who obligingly permitted me to take extracts from it, and from the monuments in the church of Allesley. Colonel Neale, besides the portrait of Cromwell, has some other curious writings relating to him; as well as some family portraits of the Neales.

A short sketch of the family of Neale, descended from Anna, youngest daughter and co-heiress of Henry Cromwell, esq. Of Upwood, uncle to Oliver, lord protector.  -Anna Cromwell, 1st cousin by marriage to Oliver Cromwell, lord protector...
John I Neale, of Dean, in the county of Bedford, Esq. married Anna Cromwell, the youngest daughter daughter and co-heiress of Henry Cromwell, of Upwood, in the county of Huntingdon, Esq. 3rd son of Henry Cromwell, knight. This lady (Anna) was 1st cousin to Oliver Cromwell, afterwards lord protector, and who was one of the trustees mentioned in the marriage settlement, part of which is still remaining, in the possession of the present representative of the family.

Neale Family  -
The Neales were originally of Staffordshire, they emigrated first to the county of Buckingham and then to Bedfordshire, seating themselves at Dean… The lineage I presently have [6/15/2016] begins with John Neale b. 1584, Bedford, father of John I Neale who married Anna Cromwell; they had two sons and three daughters…John II, Henry, Ann, Bridget, Elizabeth. Refer to Blog Post (Historical Misc): House of Cromwell  http://historicalandmisc.blogspot.com/2016/06/neale-and-cromwell-connection.html
Reminder: John I Neale (1612-1680) was a Parliamentarian -which involves him in the English Civil War [1642-1651].

John II Neale d. 1700, having no male surviving issue [his only son, Thomas died in 1671, age 2] was succeeded by his brother, Henry Neale b. 1651, as Esq. of Dean. Henry Neale, 2nd son of John I Neal by Anne Cromwell, was sheriff of the county of Bucks, 1696; he afterwards settled in Warwickshire, at a pleasant village called Allesley, two miles from the city of Coventry, where he had a noble feat, and a very considerable estate… he married Anna-Maria, sole daughter and heiress of John Hanbury, of Feckenham, in the county of Worcester, Esq. with whom he lived more than forty years: she d. 2/11/1729, aged 50; he d. 5/6/1730, aged 79. There is an elegant marble monument, recording their many virtues, in the chancel of Allesley church, it appears they had left six sons and a daughter.
